Selections

The Karelia hardwood floors are made from different wood species and the natural variations on the wood can also be categorized into selections depending on their appearance. Even though each selection is different they all share the high quality of Karelia hardwood floors. 

The wood species are divided into selections by their own natural tones and liveliness. Grain patterns and colours define each selection and make it a unique decorative element.

Wood is a natural material with unique beauty and tones. Please note that the photos you see on your screen may not represent the same natural colour tones and character of the actual hardwood floor. The pictures throughout this website as well as in the Karelia Inspiration Gallery are illustrative and there may be colour variations and variations in characteristics in larger floor areas which are natural to the selection and cannot be portrayed in small images. 

Karelia selections:

Select For the Select collection, only the part of the tree bearing the most subtle colours and pattern is used. This colleciton is exclusively for the most knot-free wood with the most even hues.	Nature In the Natural collection the grain pattern and hues are more prominent. This colletion's natural pattens and shades give your floor a character of its own.
Vario Vario is our most dramatic, colourful and lively collection. Its vibrant shades highlight the wood's natural irregularities.	Country Country brings out the wood's personality, its knots and bolder colour variations bringing a vivacious touch to your floor.
