Selections

The Karelia hardwood floors are made from different wood species and the natural variations on the wood can also be categorized into selections depending on their appearance. Even though each selection is different they all share the high quality of Karelia hardwood floors. 

The wood species are divided into selections by their own natural tones and liveliness. Grain patterns and colours define each selection and make it a unique decorative element.

Wood is a natural material with unique beauty and tones. Please note that the photos you see on your screen may not represent the same natural colour tones and character of the actual hardwood floor. The pictures throughout this website as well as in the Karelia Inspiration Gallery are illustrative and there may be colour variations and variations in characteristics in larger floor areas which are natural to the selection and cannot be portrayed in small images. 

Karelia selections:

Nature Natur is manufactured from dense wood core, often clearly exposing the fibre patterns of wood in a floor.	Polar Polar is manufactured from heartwood and surface wood. It is lively selection with strong shades, grain patterns and knots.	Select Floors are generally evenly coloured. Select is the most knotless selection.
Robust Robust is the most vibrant-looking selection.	Rustic Rustikal is manufactured from assorted heartwood, in which knots make floors more vibrant.	Country Country is manufactured from heartwood and surface wood. It is lively selection with strong shades, grain patterns and knots.
