Karelia is now introducing two new trendy grey coloured products into the Oak Stonewashed family of hardwood floors. The Karelia Oak Stonewashed Charcoal is a 3-strip brushed and dark grey oiled hardwood floor. Stonewashed Clay is a 3-strip brushed and light grey oiled hardwood floor. Both floors are excellent choices for interior decorators or designers who want to create a trendy and individual look into the home.
Stonewashing accentuates the grain patterns of the wood
Stonewashing is a method where the surface of the hardwood floor is first wire brushed and then tint oiled and then finished with clear oil. Stonewashing accentuates the grain structure of the wood and tint oil gives the floor a unigue appearance. The Karelia Stonewashed family consists of Oak Ebony, Ivory, Charcoal and Clay as well as Robinie Ebony and Ivory.
Karelia Oak Stonewashed Charcoal and Clay Hardwood Floors will be available starting in the Spring of 2008.
